Safety and Security Guidelines 5-29-2020

UPDATE: On Tuesday, May 12 the newly reformed Safety and Security Committee will meet with members of the administration via Zoom to discuss Gov. DeWine’s proposed Phase-In Process of re-opening the college. The Committee wants to assure membership that we will agree to reopen the college doors only when staff, faculty, and students are provided with appropriate personal protection and specific social distancing procedures.

To be clear, the union will work in shared governance with Administration to ensure the safety of all employees in Steubenville and Youngstown. We expect that when the college does reopen, all measures will be taken to keep everyone who comes onto our campuses safe and secure.

We look forward to getting back to campus so that we can continue to do the important work of educating and supporting our students, but we will do so only when we are confident that the highest level of personal protection is provided for all employees.
